Eastern Caribbean shipping firm Geest Line is returning to Portsmouth two years after relocating to Dover. Its fleet handles all kinds of general cargo from tiny perishables to large project machinery, both container and breakbulk, returning from the Caribbean with fruit, mainly bananas, for the UK and European markets. Portico, Portsmouth’s international cargo terminal, have further demonstrated their commitment to improving terminal operations with the arrival of three new Kalmar DRG450-65S6X reach-stackers, which are capable to stacking loaded containers up to six high.
